Former child stars are coming out to play.
As Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes’ sordid affairs have been running rampant on gossip pages, it seems not all who grew up in Hollywood have had the same fate.
Following Mara Wilson’s honest and insightful article on the breakdown of child actors, Rick Schroder has come forward to extend his heartfelt sympathies for the girls. He said:
“My heart goes out to them because they’re in a place that’s not good and there’s a lot of people around them that don’t care about them and want to capitalize on it. I feel bad for them.├óΓé¼┬¥
Rick, who acted in the 1979 film The Champ and the 80’s TV show Silver Spoons, explained:
“I just wish that some people would intervene on their behalf.”
So do we! Though, it looks like LiLo is FINALLY getting the help she needs! We can only hope Amanda does, too!
