What the heck is Fox News doing?!
The network is causing a frenzy on social media this week after an interview with Vice Admiral Robert Harward, a retired Navy SEAL and the former Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command, went viral! Why is that? Many people believe he (or someone else) wore a mask on live television!

Harvard appeared on Fox News on Tuesday to discuss Donald Trump‘s ongoing war in Iran. And as he was talking, viewers could not help but notice an odd dark shadow or huge gap near the base of his neck! They are now speculating either that Harward had a silicone mask on for some strange reason or that Fox News used a stand-in who threw on a mask to impersonate the vice admiral, which is a huge violation of journalistic ethics if true! And it sounds like something straight out of Mission: Impossible! See the reactions (below):
“Can anyone really explain this? Why does it look like Fox News put a man with a mask in their show?”
“This is the weirdest s**t I’ve ever seen. Wtf”
“Holy s**t why is this man on Fox News wearing a literal CIA mask”
“why the actual f**k is a Fox News guest wearing a sophisticated full head mask”
“Always nice to see Tom Cruz on Fox News”
“This is absolutely a mask and you can’t convince me it’s not”
“Bro’s neck looking like a cheap Halloween mask slipped halfway off Who tf is under there for real? Fox wildin”
Meghan McCain even joined in on the conversation online, referencing Tiffany Gomas‘ viral airplane freakout:
“That motherf**ker is NOT real”
Meanwhile, others are saying everyone is overreacting! They argue that the lighting is simply to blame! See a clip of the interview for yourself (below):

Well, Fox News is giving folks an answer! They says it’s all because of… yes, the lighting! Not a mask! The network explained to TMZ on Friday:
“Vice Admiral Robert Harward appeared on FOX News Channel earlier this week via a remote, mobile camera operated by an outside vendor. During the interview, lighting conditions in the van contrasted with the vice admiral’s jacket, which caused a shadow to appear on his neck.”
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Do you believe Fox’s explanation for what happened or are you sticking with the mask theory? Sound OFF in the comments (below)!
