It sure does pay to own your own business!
There have been tons of reports about how much it cost for George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin to get married, and you may not believe the final figures.
People have projected that the ceremonies, lavish meals, and the destination in general cost anywhere between $5 million to $13 million, but it was much lower than that!

In all, the wedding cost $1.6 million, or 1 million British pounds.
And Clooney paid for none of it!
Amal’s family picked up the tab, and George’s Casamigos Tequila flew in over 100 cases of their Blanco, Reposado and A├â┬▒ejo tequila, so the alcohol was taken care of!
$1.6 million is still a TON of ca$$$h, but with how much some celebs pay for their weddings, it isn’t terrible at all!
