Girls├óΓé¼Γäó Christopher Abbott — ahem, the adorable and kind-hearted Charlie aka Allison Williams├óΓé¼Γäó love interest — has left the show! And just as things were starting to get inneresting, too!
But why the sudden departure? Apparently, he and the HBO show’s creator Lena Dunham couldn’t agree on his character’s storyline.
But is this dramz really to blame?!
A source revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôThey├óΓé¼Γäóve just started work on Season 3, and Chris is at odds with Lena… He didn├óΓé¼Γäót like the direction things are going in, which seems a bit odd since the show put him on the map.├óΓé¼┬¥
Despite the show├óΓé¼Γäós third season, currently in production, Chris’ rep also confirmed:
“[Chris] is grateful for the experience of collaborating with Lena, Judd[Apatow], and the entire ‘Girls’ cast and crew, but right now he’s working on numerous other projects and has decided not to return to the show.”
We. Are. Devastated.
DEVASTATED. Wake us up when it’s over.
