Lena Dunham did NOT come to play… she came to fly!
The Girls creator strutted into the 2026 Met Gala dripping in a fiery red Valentino fantasy, complete with a gigantic feather boa train that screamed “LOOK AT ME!!!” and then some.

Wow!
During the livestream, Dunham said she intended her outfit to be reminiscent of “blood splatter” and, well, she ain’t wrong! It’s her first time at the Met Gala since 2019, and clearly she decided to go big or go home, because subtlety is nowhere in sight — just sequins, feathers, and confidence.
Love it or hate it, you cannot ignore it. And honestly, isn’t that the point of the Met Gala?!
