Looks like things are getting all shaken up over at Fox!
If you thought life after graduation was change enough, Gleeks… you may just want to rethink that!
For the past two years, we’ve gotten so used to scrambling home in time to watch Glee on Tuesday nights, and now, Fox has decided to switch the show to Thursdays!
This will mean that season four will air directly AFTER The X Factor results show in the fall and after American Idol’s results show, come midseason.
This could mean good news for Glee, seeing as we’re sure some of the music competitions’ audiences will spill over and tune into the scripted show after the results shows!
The day-change isn’t the only thing new for next season — sounds like Glee will be packing on MORE celeb appearances as well!
Up next for Glee guest-stardom? Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson!
SJP will appear in an unconfirmed number of episodes, whereas Kate will take on a reported seven!
Interesting! We can’t wait to hear what character roles they’ll be playing!! Maybe NYADA professors…or even just themselves??
Fox exec Kevin Reilly said season four will be a “show-within-a-show”…splitting its time between McKinley High in Ohio and Rachel and Kurt’s presumed big city dreams in NYC.
While we are super sad for the show’s impending graduation next week, we gotta admit — we’re super excited to see what else Ryan Murphy has up his sleeve for next season!
