It’s fitting and perfect that Carol Burnett tonight became the first person to win a lifetime achievement award for television at the Golden Globes!
And it’s perfect that forever on from here to eternity, the award shall be named after her!
Steve Carell just handed out the Carol Burnett Award to its namesake, one of TV comedy’s living legends, after a touching speech and a moving montage of some of Carol’s best work on television in the past several decades!
