Awkward!!!
Chrissy Metz was still mic’d up after the very end of a pre-show interview when it appears she was caught saying something about Alison Brie while cameras at the Golden Globes cut away to her on the other side of the red carpet earlier today.
Chrissy was doing a pre-show interview on the Globes’ Facebook Live account, and when things wrapped up after talking to the This Is Us star, the hosts awkwardly asked Metz to help introduce Brie on the other side of the red carpet.
And then, it appears, Metz said… something.

It doesn’t really sound like Chrissy called Alison a b*tch straight away, first off… but what DID she say???
The This Is Us actress spoke to People during the show, saying (below):
“I’m so distraught and upset. I don’t speak about anyone like that I don’t speak like that. I love Alison, I follow her. When I was walking up they said, ‘Do you know Alison,’ and I said, ‘Oh boy, do I.’ I love her.”
Metz’s rep added more (below):
“Chrissy never said that. She would never say that about anybody. She’s a huge fan and friend of Alison Brie.”
So what DID she say, then???
