The Internet Steps Up And Helps Grieving Father With Beautiful Request To Help Remember His Late Daughter

these photos bring a whole new meaning to random acts of kindness
Such a sad story, but one that gives us hope for the humanity you can find online.
July 10th was a tremendously hard day for Nathan Steffel, and on that day his infant daughter Sophia died from hepatic hemangioma – a type of liver tumor.
The grieving father hoped to remember his baby girl, but all of the photos he had of her featured breathing tubes in the photo.
So he turned to Reddit for some help.
Here’s what he wrote on the site:

“My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children’s hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?”

Along with this message he shared the original photo which you can see on the top left (above).
Almost immediately after posting, Nathan was surprised to see a ton of photoshopped photos per his request.
And it sincerely touched his heart! He later responded:

“This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received was a lot of love and support from a bunch of strangers. ”

We LOVE the support that this father received, and it’s obvious that there a lot of extremely decent people on the internet.
Some of the photos are sincerely beautiful, and we cried a few times looking over the best of the batch.
Have a good cry too by checking out what some awesome Reddit users created for the father up (above) !!!
