It looks like G.R.L. will no longer be a girl group!
Over the weekend, fans noticed that two of the Ugly Heart songstresses had changed their social media accounts — a sign hinting that the group had split.

Group members Emmalyn Estrada and Paula van Oppen‘s Twitter handles no longer include “GRL” — and Paula’s has been completely changed from @GRLPaula to @eyesthatlightup!
And if that wasn’t enough proof, founding member Lauren Bennett may have confirmed that the group was done with this cryptic message:

Thank u all for ridin with GRL thru the tough times.. I know it’s all a bit confusing but I love you all, and care never forget ├ó┬¥┬ñ├»┬╕┬Å

Whether or not the British girl group was still together has been a subject of discussion since last September, when the fifth member of the group Simone Battle committed suicide at the age of 25.
We’ve reached out to a representative for the group, but have not received an official word back yet!
While we’re sad to see the group go, we hope each of the girls finds happiness in the next chapter of their lives!
