Wow, is Gwyneth Paltrow actually an evil genius under all that “how many Marvel movies have I been in again?” facade?
Fans got the sense Gwyneth was shading Meghan Markle with a little cooking video she tossed up on her Instagram on Saturday. They noted how her raw, casual, just-woke-up style while making breakfast was so much more relatable than Meghan’s carefully crafted image while doing the same thing on her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

But an expert dug in deeper and they think they found a ton of shady ass easter eggs the Goop founder slipped in to the supposedly off-the-cuff vid! Maybe viewers were picking up on this stuff subliminally and reading the shade?? Give it another look!
The Details
The first one that stands out? The music!
The video is set to Natalie Cole’s This Will Be (An Everlasting Love). Great song, sure… But it also has a Duchess connection! It was used in promos for Meg’s Netflix show! We caught that one no problem.
But there’s more we didn’t notice slipped into the 30-second vid…
DailyMail.com‘s Alison Boshoff really dug in — and as far as she’s concerned, the devil was in the details on this one! For instance she pointed out the cup choice.
Gwyneth’s coffee mug featured a novelty crest — a “G” and “B” inside a coat of arms. The letters are fancy calligraphy, but you know — in a tongue-in-cheek way. After all, she and her hubby are just Gwyn and Brad, a couple of Americans drinking a cup of joe. They aren’t the Duke and Duchess. It seems like another little dig at Meghan, whose personalized stationery has an “M” with a crown on top. And, as Boshoff points out, Meg has a love of calligraphy and prides herself on her own skills.
Also? Gwyneth’s “cleaner take on a classic breakfast” includes store-bought biscuits that she just tosses on a baking sheet. Nothing wrong with that obviously, but Boshoff wonders if that isn’t also a jab. Why? Meghan prepares a lot of premade store-bought items on With Love, Meghan. Neither is making the breakfast from scratch… but the Royal Tenenbaums star showing how effortless it is does kind of call into question what Meghan is doing with a cooking show, right?
There’s also the fact Gwyneth is showing fans inside her actual home… while Meghan rented a $6 million home to film the show in, keeping fans at a distance. Hmm.
The Party
The big reason Boshoff is reading into the video so much? She’s already convinced this is a very real feud. See, these two aren’t just swimming in the same pool when it comes to business. They also both live in the ritzy Montecito area. And Gwyneth pals around with all the fancy folks there. She’s been friendly for years with Oprah Winfrey, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, fashion designer Tracy Robbins, cosmetics queen Victoria Jackson…
These elites and more have all been in Gwyneth’s circle for years. Then Meghan came along — and all of them started hanging out with her, going on vacay, inviting her to premieres, playing mahjong. It’s not that they don’t see the Se7en star anymore. But they themselves are the evidence of bad feelings.
See, Boshoff was told Gwyneth threw a dinner party just last spring, and all her old friends — who are mutuals with Meghan — were invited. The whole upper crust neighborhood who had become pals with Meghan… but NOT the Duchess herself! Hmmm…
