Gwyneth Paltrow takes a different approach to cooking videos than Meghan Markle — and fans have REALLY noticed.
The Marvel star dropped a delicious new breakfast-making video on Instagram on Saturday, and did so from the comfort of her own home, in her own kitchen, in her own pajamas! In the video, she whips together her “cleaner take on a classic breakfast: gluten-free buttermilk biscuits, not-so-perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and crispy bacon,” which she dubbed, “#boyfriendbreakfast.” The 52-year-old goes makeup free while cooking in a blue and white pinstripe pajama set. She set the video to Natalie Cole’s This Will Be (An Everlasting Love). You can watch (below):

Fans quickly began singing her praises in the comments — specifically how raw everything from her lack of makeup to her pajamas feel. And they couldn’t help but suspect it was her way of subtly shading the Duchess of Sussex’s polished new Netflix show With Love, Meghan:
“Gwyneth Paltrow continues to throw shade & I’m here for it! No makeup in her actual kitchen!”
“Love this. No fake house, fake kitchen, fake hair extensions, fake friends just your beautiful true self. Such a breath of fresh air to see.”

Another fan added Gwyneth should “pop by Meghan’s place to show her how it’s done” as they both live in Montecito, California.

However while many may be quick to pick up on hints of “shade,” they may not actually be there! Gwyneth recently opened up about how she doesn’t view Meghan’s lifestyle brand as competition. She told Vanity Fair on Tuesday:
“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try. Another woman is never your competition … What is right for you will find you.”
Good for Gwyneth! We need more of that energy!
