This is getting out of control.
The British Advertising Standards Authority has banned yet ANOTHER ad from the UK, this time it’s from Hailee Steinfeld‘s Miu Miu campaign.
According to the ASA, the image of the 14 year old sitting on train tracks is ‘irresponsible‘ because it shows a child in an unsafe location.
Miu Miu argued that Hailee “could have easily moved from where she was sitting because she was not restrained in any way”, but that didn’t sway them and the ad was yanked.
We get what the ASA’s saying but at the same time it’s not like there’s a train in the background. And how do they know if it’s an functioning track?
What do U think about the ASA’s decision???
