On Wednesday, Hailee Steinfeld gave an intimate performance at a candlelight vigil for a fan who died in a go-karting accident.
The Let Me Go singer joined friends, family, and classmates of Leah Kuczinski at New Hyde Park Memorial High School in Long Island, New York to honor the memory of the 16-year-old cheerleader and field hockey player.

Steinfeld thanked attendees for coming to honor the late teen, who was supposed to attend the singer’s show this summer. To pay her respects, the actress launched into an acoustic version of her song Starving.
