Hailey Bieber is showing her support for Selena Gomez amid their online drama.
As we’re sure you know by now, Hailey and Selly have had a quiet animosity for years over the heart of Justin Bieber. Their feud was brought back into the spotlight after fans called out Kylie Jenner for mocking the Lose You To Love Me songstress in her Instagram Stories. Folks soon noticed Hailey, Kylie, and their friend Justine Skye all seemed to be pulling a mean girl act on Selena. More and more came out as fans dug into past interactions — even Kendall Jenner seemed to be involved!

The rumors caused the Rhode founder to lose tons of followers on IG — and the Rare Beauty founder to gain even more! Everyone was picking sides and showing support for who they believed to be in the right — mostly Selena! Recently things took a turn, though, when fans went too far and started bullying Hailey! Selena was not having that!
The Selena + Chef host took to the ‘gram to share a message with her followers and show her solidarity with Hailey. She wrote in her Stories:
“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
To which the model responded in part:
“I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I … In the end I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy or compassion.”
They even followed each other, you guys! Such a big step for them, all things considering. And it seems like things are still going strong because in a subtle act of support, the 26-year-old socialite liked the Wizards of Waverly Place alum’s newest pic!
In a throwback bikini snap, the 30-year-old singer wrote about her excitement for the upcoming year in her caption:
“TBT to blondie sel. Summers coming! So many exciting things coming!”
