Buckle up, folks! This one’s definitely a trip!
Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time when you forget all your problems and eat everything in sight just be thankful for what you have!
But somehow Halle Berry‘s baby-daddy misinterpreted the meaning of the holiday.
(Okay, so we know it wasn’t the Canadian Thanksgiving… but still! C’mon Gab!)
Yes, Gabriel Aubry was arrested Thursday morning after a custodial drop-off turned into a battle of the Halle lovers.
He and Olivier Martinez, her fiance, started duking it out after Olivier told Gab “it’s time to move on.” That’s when Gab shoved Olivier and threw the first punch. Sigh…
Luckily for Oliv, he was able to block it and punched back in defense. But then Gab PUSHED HIM TO THE GROUND!!!!
Olivier, determined to fight back, managed to pin Gabriel down after some struggle.
After the cops were called, Olivier made a citizen’s arrest, and both of them ended up in the same ER hall at the hospital.
Ugh… That is not the kind of family bonding the Big Turkey had in mind…
So then Gabriel, with his broken rib and face contusions, was booked for misdemeanor battery and slapped with an emergency protective order requiring him to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, and Nahla.
He’s since been released from jail, but we doubt he’s gonna be released from eyebrow-arched eyes of the judge now. And all of this happened right after he won that custody battle too! Talk about taking things for granted…
Oh and if you’re wondering what Halle was doing throughout all of this, she immediately took Nahla inside to escape the terrifying situation. Thank GOODNESS!
Olivier sustained neck injuries and may have broken his hand, but we hope they were all able to salvage part of their Thanksgiving after he was released from the hospital. See the pics of his return below!
