After a troll attempted to link Miley Cyrus‘ sexuality to her split from Liam Hemsworth, Halsey is swooping in to come to her defense!
The Without Me singer clapped back at a Twitter troll on Sunday who blamed the split on Miley being “greedy and never satisfied,” and her response is EPIC!

After photos began to circulate of the Mother’s Daughter songstress kissing Brody Jenner‘s ex Kaitlynn Carter while on vacay in Italy, an internet troll shared their thoughts:
“#MileyCyrus splitting and allegedly cheating on Liam with a woman confirms that you shouldn’t date bi people. Not offensive, just true. Bi is greedy and never satisfied.”
Uhh… what?!
Halsey took it upon herself to defend her fellow musician, writing:
“Hey tigerbob. Doesn’t surprise me that ur saying this and ur page has u crying about Brie Larson too! Stop being afraid of women who aren’t afraid to do what pleases them and not other people :-)”
*Clapping hands emoji*
As we previously reported, a rep for Cyrus broke the shocking news on Saturday:
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
This isn’t the first time the Eastside artist has come to the defense of a pal in need! Following the purchase of Taylor Swift‘s music catalog by Scooter Braun from Big Machine Records in a massive deal, Halsey was among the first celebs who showed support for the Reputation singer. Using Twitter to speak out about the controversy, she penned:
“Taylor Swift is a huge reason why I always insisted to write my own music. I believed if she did it (in a way that made my teeth ache like cold water and my heart swell and my eyes leak) than I should too. Cause that’s how to make someone feel. To drag it from the pits of your heart. To offer it on a platter and say ‘take some but take kindly.’ She deserves to own the painstaking labor of her heart. She has surpassed all expectations of what any artist is capable of. She catapulted her stardom into the Milky Way.”
Halsey is definitely someone we’d like to have in our corner in a time of need!!
