Miley Cyrus has had enough of Brody Jenner’s comments about her sexually liberated ways!
The Mother’s Daughter singer took to Instagram on Sunday to clap back at The Hills star for cracking a joke about her splitting with Liam Hemsworth amid the singer’s apparent fling with Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter.
In case you missed it, Miley and Kaitlynn were spotted making out and cuddling up against one another during a vacation in Italy with their friends Bradley Kenneth McPeek and Saul Choza.

Jenner, who revealed last week he and Carter had “decided to amicably separate” after reportedly tying the knot last June, subtly responded to the PDA-filled pics in an Instagram post on Sunday showing him standing by the ocean in Malibu, California. He wrote in the caption:
“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”
Jenner’s MTV costar Brandon Lee poked fun at the makeout pics in the comments section of the post, writing with a kiss emoji:
“Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out.”
The comment inspired Jenner to drag Miley’s estranged hubby into the drama. He replied with a laughing-crying emoji:
“Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.”
We mean, we certainly wouldn’t be upset about that…
But the songstress apparently thought it was a good time to throw shade following her split from Liam. She wrote in response to the DJ’s remark:
“@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off. #HotGirlSummer”

The hashtag was in reference to a comment Brody posted on his ex’s selfie with Cyrus on Friday — the day before photos of their steamy poolside kiss sesh went public.
Carter shared a pic (below) with the Grammy nominee on Instagram, along with the caption, “Rock the boat, don’t rock the boat baby.” Her ex wrote, “Hot girl summer” with a fire emoji.

It’s hard to tell if Miley and Brody are just playing around with each other, or if actual shade is being thrown.

Either way, it looks like Miley and Kaitlynn are really enjoying their time together and don’t care who knows it.
As we reported, Cyrus’ team confirmed the singer had split from the Hunger Games star hours after the pics of her and the blogger were released. A rep told ET in a statement:
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
