Would you eat a happy meal after 6 months? We sure wouldn’t!
However according to New York artist, Sally Davies, who photographed a happy meal every day for 6 months, the burger and fries look almost as fresh as the day they were bought.
OMG!
Davies is a vegan, and says she finds this amusing, however if she was a meat eater she would be frightened!
She entitled this documentation The Happy Meal Project, where she watched as fast food is apparently indestructible to the forces of nature.
Davies bought a happy meal from McDonalds, and left it out on her shelf to see how it would fare,
The first thing that struck me on day two of the experiment was that it no longer emitted any smell. And then the second point of note was that on the second day, my dogs stopped circling the shelf it was sitting on trying to see what was up there.
Obviously, like most foods tend to do, Davies expected the burger and fries to develop some mold…but to her surprise after 6 months she said, ├óΓé¼┼ôthe food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it. The only change that I can see is that it has become hard as a rock.├óΓé¼┬¥
YUCK!
What do U think? Still want to eat McDonalds???
