One Direction‘s Harry Styles thinks one dance move is a nasty piece of twerk!
In a recent interview, Harry showed his true feelings towards the booty-gyrating dance trend – his true feelings…of pure hatred:
“I think it’s quite inappropriate. Especially for the age groups that it’s aimed at.”
Whoa, harsh words. Especially from someone who actually had a rather famous incident of twerking at the Teen Choice Awards. Hmm maybe he was just being cheeky in his response?
Nope. Harry and the rest of One Direction were asked a follow-up in the interview inquiring if they were worried about their fans’ young age, and Harry continued his twerk bashing in response:
“I think it’s, you know, promoting promiscuity.”
Well, that’s a comment that’s sure to make Miley Cyrus stick out her tongue. But then again, what doesn’t make Miley stick out her tongue these days? LOLz!
Hmm we feel like this argument against twerking seems to be similar to the one used against Elvis Presley‘s dance moves! His hip thrustin’ moves are practically the great ancestor of the twerk!
