Hilary Duff has gifted us with another peek inside her dreamy backyard wedding!
In case you missed it, the Lizzie McGuire star and her partner Matthew Koma officially tied the knot on Sunday night in a private ceremony at their home. It was basically everything dreams are made of, so we’re not surprised Hil can’t stop sharing pics from the magical evening on her Instagram!
In a series of shots shared on Thursday, the Duffster is seen stunning in her custom-made Jenny Packham gown. As you can see (below), the ensemble has bold pointy shoulders, long cape-like sleeves, and an open back detail that would leave cartoon Lizzie’s jaw on the floor.

She captioned the pic:
“The most magical day into night with the one that I love”

The second snap saw the actress walking outside into the reception area while carrying her daughter Banks. She wrote:
“Little girl cried up until we opened the front door and she knew we were walking towards her daddy and bruvvah”
S’cute!!
Hil then posted a pic of her hubby walking outside with her 7-year-old son Luca, sharing:
She finished it off with a photo of the entire family of four, writing in the caption:
“Truly sad this day went by so quickly.”
Time flies when you’re marrying the love of your life!
As we reported, a lot of thought went into planning Hilary and Matthew’s big day — particularly the creation of the actress’ dream dress. Packham previously opened up to Vogue about stitching together the momma-of-two’s custom gown, explaining:
“I want Hilary to feel, how I think she wanted to feel in this dress from the direction that we had which is very modern and it’s quite a bold look. And more than anything I wanted her to feel immensely confident in it, and it’s a very confident look.”
Hilary admitted her collaborative process with the designer was truly the stuff of dreams, adding:
“I love it. I feel… I feel really comfortable, and I feel like it’s everything that I’ve dreamed of. The shoulders are so exciting to me. It’s really what I wanted. It has structure, but it’s clean and simple.”
“Clean and simple” appeared to be the overall theme of the ceremony. A source previously dished to People:
“The wedding was at her house. It was small and low-key. Only family and close friends. The ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house. When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard. Her sister Haylie was very involved in the wedding prep too. Hilary and Haylie are very close.”
