Lewis Hamilton‘s pals think Kim Kardashian could be hurting his mojo on the race track!
In March, the Formula 1 racer finished in sixth place at the Japanese Grand Prix. It’s a shock not to see the seven-time F1 world driving champion on top. In fact, it’s one of his worst finishes of the season so far! He hasn’t gotten better, either! He finished in sixth again at the Miami Grand Prix over the weekend! Yikes! And while Lewis blamed a tactical error that allowed multiple competitors to pass him in Japan, his pals feel something, or more so someone, else is to blame! They think his loss is all Kim’s fault!

An insider told RadarOnline on Tuesday that the friends feel Lewis’ relationship with the reality star is throwing him off his game, even going as far as to say it’s the “Kardashian Curse” at play! And it doesn’t matter that Kim wasn’t at the race! They still believe she’s the reason for his failure! The source explained:
“Kim was not actually at the race but she was in Tokyo with him the week before so she’s getting dragged into this. She skipped the race because she didn’t want to get blamed if he didn’t win, but somehow people are still pointing the finger at her, which feels pretty unfair, but naturally it’s getting in his head. He’s used to being on the podium so to come in sixth is a huge shock.”
However, Lewis doesn’t feel the same way as his pals! He’s also defending Kimmy Kakes amid all the noise! The insider said:
“No doubt he’s reeling over it, and having everyone tell him Kim is to blame doesn’t exactly help the relationship. He’s not the type to pass the buck and he’s sticking up for her, but it’s still a lot of noise to deal with when he’s trying to stay focused and get back on form.”
What else does this sound like? You know, it is just like Timothée Chalamet‘s inner circle, who are blaming Kylie Jenner for his Oscar loss instead of their friend’s own actions! Just like them, Lewis’ pals have to say the woman is to blame instead of pointing at their friend’s head not being in the game. If he’s letting his relationship impact his sport, that’s his own fault! Not Kim’s! It’s just yet again a sexist take! At least Lewis is sticking up for her!
But now sources say Lewis is feeling the pressure to prove everyone wrong and perform his best at the Canadian Grand Prix later this month:
“There’s a real sense now that he needs to shut all of that out and prove it has nothing to do with what’s going on in his personal life. He knows the only way to silence it is to perform, so there’s added pressure on him going into the next race to deliver and remind everyone exactly what he’s capable of.”
If Lewis loses again (hopefully not), let’s not point fingers at Kim! She doesn’t deserve that!
