Following her recent return to YouTube and social media after her botched lipstick debacle, Jaclyn Hill is ready to address something else — her weight.
ICYMI: the beauty YouTuber has been flitting between going offline and online after issuing full refunds and backtracking on her initial defensive statements as more complaints were posted about Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics, before ultimately shutting down her social media accounts. Now, she’s slowly but surely getting back into her groove, but has “gained 20 pounds in the last 7 weeks.”

Alongside two photos with her boyfriend Jordan Farnum shared to Instagram, the YouTuber wrote:
“I have gained 20 pounds in the last 7 weeks. Im being transparent with you guys, because I have been getting lots of comments about my weight. I have never been this insecure about my physical appearance in my life. Sweatpants are literally the only thing that fits me right now & ive had to go up 2 sizes in my jeans. But this guy @farnumgrindtime still tells me how beautiful I am every single day & still picks me up and makes me feel like the most special girl in the world. He speaks to my heart everyday & I genuinely believe God himself blessed me with him. He’s a special one?”
Hill continued, writing:
“Side note: you’re going to notice in my future videos…. my face is bigger, my arms are bigger, my entire body is bigger. But you’ll just have to deal with it, cause this is me❤️”

As we previously reported, the 29-year-old returned online almost one month after going silent with a new video titled “Where I’ve Been,” though she doesn’t really address it head on:
“I really wanted to make a video because obviously I have deleted all of my social media accounts. I just want to start off by saying, this video might be the biggest mistake of my entire career, but that’s ok. I have had so many people tell me to not address anything, not talk about anything.”
She ultimately admits failing as a brand and it’s time to swallow her pride:
“That’s why this whole thing has been so hard for me because I completely failed, I say it every day and I still choke on those words. My launch was a failure, it failed, it sucked. Honestly, I was so confident that I was almost cocky to be quite honest, because I was just like – this is going to be the best thing that people have ever seen, the best lipsticks the market has even seen. I was working with the best lab, the best people, I had spent all this money, I was just like this is amazing.”
In 2019, you’ve REALLY gotta own up to your faults or the internet will come for you!!
