The family of late actor James Gandolfini hopes to bury him in New York sometime next week.
Gandolfini died in Rome on Wednesday of a confirmed heart attack. It could take up to 10 days to transport his body from Italy to the US but the Gandolfini family is hoping authorities will work towards an earlier return.
A spokesperson for James’ family said on Friday:
“We are all devastated by this loss. James was a devoted husband, a loving father of two children, a brother and cousin you could always count on.”
Incredibly heartbreaking.
