Ain’t no party like a Jamie Foxx party!
The Oscar winner pulled out all the stops for his 52nd birthday bash at Warwick Nightclub in El Lay on Wednesday night, where he reportedly spent the evening surrounded by loved ones — including his young girlfriend Sela Vave (above, insert), according to a source!
Now, Jamie’s vehemently denied that he and the aspiring singer — who is said to be between 19 to 21 years old — are romantically involved, despite rumors claiming otherwise. After he and Sela were spotted holding hands outside of a nightclub in LA earlier this year, the actor took to Instagram Live to set the record straight, insisting Sela is merely another artist that he took under his wing.

He told his followers:
“When I met Ed Sheeran, I didn’t know him from Adam. He slept on my couch for six weeks — he ended up going on to do great things. Nick Cannon was 13 years old, he would sleep in my old house. Before Ne-Yo was Ne-Yo, he would come to the crib. Everybody comes to my crib, no matter who you are… People try to make mountains out of molehills. We wanted to treat her the same way and give her the opportunity. I spoke to that girl’s mom and she put her trust in me. We don’t ever cross lines like that, personal. I wanted to let you know, for all who were scandal chasing, that’s our artist, that’s our family… We are working.”
As for the hand-holding pics, Jamie explained:
“I’m escorting her to my car, to put her in the car — my artist, who hangs out with my kids and is as young as my daughters.”
Well, Sela was certainly hanging with the adults at Foxx’s birthday bash on Wednesday. We’re told that he arrived to the party with the aspiring singer by his side around 12:30 a.m.; they apparently kept close to one another at the DJ booth, and the actor reportedly couldn’t take his eyes off her all night.

After a couple hours of performances and Don Peringon champagne parades, the Just Mercy star was said to have left the venue at 2 a.m. with Sela in tow.
Hmmm…
Jamie and Sela may indeed be “working” hard, as he so claims, but it sounds like they’re playing just as hard, too!
