As we previously reported, Jamie Lynn Spears just became the latest celebrity to nab her very own docuseries, and her one-time special finally aired on Sunday.
Jamie Lynn Spears: When The Lights Go Down gave fans an in-depth look at the former child star’s life as we’ve never seen it before… and she did not hold back from more difficult chapters!

That’s because in addition to telling viewers what it was like growing up in Britney Spears‘ shadow, the now-25-year-old also revealed just how difficult it was to be a teenage mother in the public eye at just age 16.
In fact, Jamie Lynn admitted that she actually found out she was pregnant in a BP bathroom!
Scary!
Plus, JLS also gave us an update on coparenting with baby daddy Casey Aldridge, saying:
“At the end of the day I knew I had to make a decision as a young girl myself to do something that I could sleep with every night. I knew deep down that I was going to have my little girl, even if I had to raise her on my own, and that’s what I did.”
Luckily, it sounds like 8-year-old Maddy wouldn’t change anything about her life, closing the show saying:
“It’s really cool to see my mom on stage. She’s a really good singer and she’s my mom. I love my mom very much.”
How adorable is that?!
