Missing Wisconsin Teen Jayme Closs Found Alive!

Jayme Closs Found Alive Wisconsin

What had been a horrifying murder and kidnapping story appears to have at least ended better than expected, with Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs escaping her captors and being rescued  on Thursday!
Closs had been missing from her home in a small, rural Wisconsin town since October 15, 2018, when her parents were murdered and authorities determined Jayme had been abducted from the scene.

A woman was out walking her dog in the tiny northern Wisconsin town of Eau Claire Acres, about six miles east of Gordon, on Thursday evening when Closs ran up to her frantically asking for help.
According to CNN, the pair knocked on the nearest neighbor’s door, and the police were called. Cops showed up to care for Jayme, and “less than ten minutes later,” per the report, a suspect was also arrested.
Eau Claire Acres is a very rural, unpopulated area about 70 miles north of the Closs home in Barron, where the abduction had taken place 87 days ago.
As of less than an hour ago, police have confirmed that Closs named her abductor — a good sign that, even though it’s still early in the investigation, justice will hopefully be served.
GMA has more on the investigation and the aftermath of Closs’ escape from captivity and eventual rescue (below):

Wow…
What a truly horrifying, unimaginable months-long ordeal — but thank goodness she at least came out of it alive. A miracle!
