We were so relieved to hear Child Protective Services was finally springing into action for Jenelle Evans‘ kids.
We’ve been saying for months we were terrified by the idea there were children under the care of David Eason, from the time in December he got a visit from the Secret Service over his mention of the president in an automatic rifle video on Instagram.
His response at that time was all about showing how he was not only dangerous — he was going to be especially dangerous if they came back.

Before that we just thought he was your run of the mill homophobic scumbag. Afterward we were sincerely scared for those kids.
It took only four months after that for David to commit an act of violence that confirmed our fears.
After reports came out he’d slaughtered the family’s French bulldog Nugget, he came out practically bragging about the act on Instagram.
He posted a video of the tiny pup snapping at his daughter Ensley, as though that was some sort of justification and proved he was protecting his family — when in reality he was the only danger they need protection from.

Well, thankfully CPS agreed.
On Monday afternoon we heard both nine-year-old Jace and four-year-old Kaiser, Jenelle’s children from previous relationships, had been legally removed from the couple’s North Carolina home.
Jace was already living with Jenelle’s mother Barbara, and Nathan Griffiths‘ mother was reportedly instructed to pick up Kaiser from daycare and bring him home with her.
Unfortunately there are still two children there.
The aforementioned Ensley, Jenelle and David’s two-year-old daughter (and only child together) is still in the home, as is Maryssa, David’s 11-year-old daughter from another marriage.
According to multiple reports, CPS is eager to get Ensley away as well — but authorities fear how David will react if his own child is taken away.
Um… if you’re afraid of someone getting violently angry maybe that’s the best reason you SHOULD get the kids away from them?
Maybe that could be a rule of thumb for CPS?
In any case, we’re now hearing there is a place ready for the girls.
A source told Radar Online on Tuesday that Jenelle’s in-laws are prepared to take in the kids:
“David’s family is calling to speak with a CPS worker today to let them know who his mother and two sisters are.
If something happens where they try to take Ensley and Maryssa, they want CPS to have family contacts on hand so the girls won’t end up in foster care.”
The source says the family feels their living situation is “very sad and unfair to them” — and they only want to see them happy.
Something tells us David’s family knows better than anyone what kind of man he is.
And they’re just as ready to see those girls in someone else’s custody. Says a lot, doesn’t it?
