Brad Pitt & 'Good Friend' Jennifer Aniston Reunite At The Golden Globes!

All eyes were on couples (former and present) at the Golden Globes Sunday night!

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt looked ageless as they stepped out — separately — on the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, and the Supporting Actor winner had plenty to say about his ex-wife ahead of the ceremony.

When told by ET‘s Kevin Frazier that the world is waiting on an updated photo of the increasingly friendly exes, Pitt responded:

“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. Yeah.”

Ok, but we still need a photo!!

Jokingly, he continued:

“The second most important reunion of her year? I understand. That was a play on Friends. They were saying that.”

Once the event was underway, the two continued to prove you CAN be friends with your ex. Seated just a table away from each other, the Friends alum made sure to join in the applause as the 56-year-old accepted the award for his role in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

During his acceptance speech, Angelina Jolie‘s ex joked about being subject to constant dating rumors and even got a chuckle out of the 50-year-old. On stage, he explained:

“I want to say hi to my folks, because hey! They’re back in the Ozarks. I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t, because anyone I stand next to, they say I’m dating. It would just be awkward.”

Once the awards were said and done, it was off to the after-party! At Netflix‘s soirée, the father of six sat at a booth with the cast of the Quentin Tarantino flick, including Leonardo DiCaprio (or according to Brad, LDC), along with Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro.

Per an E! News insider, it seems the two kept their distance at the bash:

“Brad was in a great mood and very social with everybody—except Jennifer Aniston, who kept her distance at a booth a level up behind Brad.”

However, once the two made it to the CAA bash at the iconic Sunset Tower later in the night, they did “briefly interact” with each other, another source divulged to the publication:

“They said hello very quickly. Jen arrived after Brad. It was brief, but [they] were very cordial and friendly and seemed happy to be there. They approached each other once they saw each other inside and looked happy as they started to hug and say hello. Jen whispered something to Brad, but it wasn’t in an affectionate way. They both didn’t seem like they wanted to make a big deal about being together in the same room although it was a private party. They were trying to be low-key. Brad left shortly after and didn’t stay at the party long.”
