Jennifer Garner refuses to pay attention to any of the media buzz surrounding her ex-husband, Ben Affleck!
In a new interview for Stellar Magazine published on Saturday, the 50-year-old actress shared that she doesn’t like to see anything about her ex-husband’s life – or her own, for that matter – online or in the news, as the former couple tries to maintain their friendship and co-parenting relationship. Even if it’s good news, Jennifer insisted she does not want to hear about it! She explained to the publication:
“I really work hard not to see either of us in the press. It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us. I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme.”

Understandable! As you most likely know, Ben has gone viral quite a few times over the years – all thanks to his infamous resting unhappy face. Most recently, he made a ton of headlines when he attended the 2023 Grammys with his wife, Jennifer Lopez, and looked downright miserable the entire night. When asked by Stellar Magazine if she’d seen any memes of the actor, Jennifer said she hadn’t at the time before joking:
“Although I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy, yes!”
LOLz. That is for sure!
Beyond having some hilarious moments, Ben also has gone viral on social media after making some controversial comments about his ex-wife. As you may recall, the Argo star faced backlash after he seemingly blamed Jennifer for his struggles with alcoholism during an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2021. He said at the time that “part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped” in his marriage with the Alias alum and would “probably still be drinking” if they were still married. Big yikes! However, Ben later insisted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that his comments were misconstrued, adding that he would “never want my kids to think that I would ever say a bad thing about their mom.”
