Jennifer Lopez has had a rough year. But amid the turmoil of her divorce, she chose self-care over career in maybe the biggest way ever… and she has zero regrets!
During a visit across the pond to The Graham Norton Show on Friday, J.Lo spoke about her shocking decision to cancel the This Is Me… Live tour after booking and selling tickets to fans for 30 concerts over three months in the US and Canada.

Her announcement came before she’d publicly confirmed her divorce from Ben Affleck but well after the date of separation. So clearly it was a huge factor in why she decided she needed to be with her family. She told Graham:
“I took the summer off and be home with the kids, and it was the best thing I think I’ve ever done. It was not like me to do that, and it always, when it comes up I like to apologize to the fans.”
In fact, she said she ran into a fan since she’d been in the UK this week who told her he had tickets. But when she apologized to him, he told her:
“Don’t apologize. We love you.”
Awww! She said it literally made her cry! And that guy… was in the audience!

We’re so glad J.Lo is feeling good about her decision. While we’re sure lots of fans were disappointed, it’s SO important to remember to prioritize family in a divorce situation. It’s become clear these kids LOVED being in a big, mixed family, so this must be as devastating for them as it was for her.
What do YOU think about Jennifer canceling her tour all these months later?? “Don’t apologize, we love you”? Or “You owe me a reschedule”?? Let us know in the comments!
