Jennifer Lopez knows she has poor judgment when it comes to choosing a guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with — or a few years with, at least!
In a video posted on TikTok by The Hollywood Reporter Friday, the actress was seen chatting with her Unstoppable co-star Bobby Cannavale at an afterparty at The Ritz-Carlton following the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. And at one point during the conversation, Jennifer got honest with the actor about her love life! The 55-year-old singer could be overheard telling Bobby:
“I’m a bad picker.”

For those who don’t know, when someone says they have a “bad picker,” it typically means they constantly chose the wrong person as a romantic partner. So say what you want about J.Lo, but at least she is self-aware! However, we bet Jennifer didn’t want to repeat that confession multiple times — which is what happened, as The Watcher star could not hear her! She said the statement two more times while laughing at the confession. The Hustlers star added seconds later:
“It is what it is.”

As Perezcious readers know, J.Lo has been married four times. She got hitched to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and Marc Anthony, who is the father of her two children, Emme and Max, from 2004 to 2014. And, of course, her latest ex-husband is Ben Affleck. Jennifer filed for divorce from the 52-year-old filmmaker in late August after months and months of speculation that their marriage was on the rocks.
During the start of the rumors about their breakups, she also hinted she chose the wrong kind of guy for herself in May when she liked a post about unhealthy relationships and toxic partners. The quote noted someone “cannot build a healthy relationship with somebody” who “lacks integrity and emotional safety,” “doesn’t respect your time,” lacks “communication skills,” and more. Sounds like she was trying to give a HUGE hint about what went wrong with her relationship with Ben — and possibly her past ones, too!
