Say what you will about the Jersey Shore cast — goodness knows there is PLENTY to say — but they really do stick together and stand by each other like a family!
The cast is gearing up right now for the third season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, their surprisingly successful re-boot spin-off show following up their eponymous MTV debut back in the day, and so a few of the stars were out and about last night at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards to cross-promote on the red carpet.

Out on the red carpet last night at the award show, cast members Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley, Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, and Lauren Sorrentino — wife of Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, of course — all made appearances and spoke to the media about the upcoming third season of their hit new show.
While the cast was quick to talk up their upcoming episodes, and clearly excited for how things are going to play out on air for the world to see, the conversation quickly turned to The Situation’s, um, situation. The 36-year-old is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence — which will be followed by two years of supervised probation — on tax evasion charges, and Lauren was up for discussing how that ordeal has been going for the couple.
She told E! News that viewers will be able to see some of the fallout from that legal fight on this season’s new episodes, and added (below):
“Mike is an incredible man and he inspires me every day. Even with him being away, our bond has grown stronger. We’re in the end game now, we got two months left and we got a lot to look forward to.”
Awww! A lot to look forward to, indeed! (And Mike, seriously, pay your taxes this time and you won’t have anything to worry about!!)

Cortese chimed in at that point, too, reinforcing to reporters that the entire cast feels the same way about their bond with Sorrentino actually being stronger.
The little meatball revealed (below):
“That’s in relation to all of us [with Mike]. We really are a family. I consider them my sisters, brothers. It’s really a rewarding situation all around. We’re classy now, we have kids, but moms like to have fun still.”
Ha!!! Amen to that!
