Jim Edmonds says he’s giving more than enough in child support payments to Meghan King Edmonds!
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star shocked fans earlier this month when she claimed her estranged husband wasn’t financially supporting their family that much amid divorce. In response to a follower’s comment, Meghan claimed Jim was paying “barely” enough in child support for “groceries for my tribe.”

Well, a rep for the ex-athlete fired back on Thursday, telling Us Weekly that Jim is going “above-and-beyond what he is required to do.” The rep said:
“We’re not going to give numbers because it’s no one’s business. But if what Jim is giving to Meghan each month for child support doesn’t cover her groceries, she must be getting her eggs from Faberge. Jim also pays every single bill for both of her homes, all the medical bills and practically every other expense related to the kids and the houses. Jim continually goes above-and-beyond what he is required to do.”
Jim’s rep said that while his estranged wife may not be spending the money on “gold and baubles,” her comments “are an insult to all the single mothers who are genuinely struggling financially and working multiple jobs to make ends meet.”
Ouch. Sounds like he thinks Meghan’s the one who should be contributing more!

The comments come months after Jim filed for divorce in October 2019 after being accused of having an affair with one of their nannies — which the former MLB star denied.
While Meghan is looking after their three children — Aspen, Hayes, and Hart — amid the coronavirus quarantine, Jim has been enjoying self-isolation workouts with his new girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor: the woman who Meghan previously claimed that she and the ex-athlete had a threesome with during their marriage.
The Bravolebrity said during an episode of her Intimate Knowledge podcast in January:
“This girl who I thought was my friend. I cast aside my uncomfortability with a threesome, everything I had in my head about a threesome being weird and gross, because I was fun and wanted to do things for my husband.”
