In response to John Edwards‘ admission that he fathered a child with adultress Rielle Hunter, his wife, Elizabeth Edwards, finally called it quits!

├óΓé¼┼ôIt is an extraordinarily sad moment, but I love my children more than anything and still care deeply about Elizabeth,” said John.

Should have thought about that beforehand!

“She said, ‘I’ve had it. I can’t do this. I want my life back,'” divulged Elizabeth’s sister, Nancy Anania, regarding meeting her husband’s daughter from the affair.

Elizabeth’s spokeswoman said that she’s “moving on with her life” after a “excruciatingly painful period for her.”
