UPDATE 7/9/15 4:21 PM EST : John Legend is the latest celeb to speak out about Cosby. He took to Twitter on July 9 to share this in reference to the comedian’s infamous “pound cake” speech, “This is the first time I’ve actually read the whole speech. Ridiculous even before we knew he was a rapist.”

Things are not looking up for Bill Cosby.
As we previously reported, on Monday damning court documents were unsealed that revealed that the 77-year-old admitted to purchasing Quaaludes with the intention of giving them young women he intended to have sex with. Yikes!
However, it appears we weren’t the only ones disturbed by the news. Judd Apatow, who’s previously been vocal about the TV legend’s rape allegations, has slammed the actor, his wife Camille Cosby, and reported Cosby defender Phylicia Rashad after the new development on the scandal came to light.

He stated:
“I don’t think there is anything new here. It is only new to people who didn’t believe an enormous amount of women who stated clearly that he drugged them. We shouldn’t need Bill Cosby to admit it to believe forty people who were victimized by him.
I am sure there are many victims who have not come forward. Maybe now more people in show business and all around our country will stand up and tell the people he attacked that we support you and believe you. I also hope Camille Cosby and Phylicia Rashad will now stand with the victims and not with their attacker.”
The Trainwreck director isn’t the only celebrity who has vocalized his support to the two dozen women who’ve accused Cosby.
Jill Scott, Kumail Nanjiani, and James Gunn joined the famous producer as they took to Twitter on Monday to comment on the recent update on the controversy.
Check out their responses below:
It’s a very sad situation. Now can we all stand up and support the victims? Will silence continue? https://t.co/0tfYB5rb7p

About Bill Cosby. Sadly his own testimony offers PROOF of terrible deeds, which is ALL I have ever required to believe the accusations.

1) We live in America. Many African American men are detained &/or imprisoned for crimes without evidence. I will never jump on bandwagons

2) based on social media or hearsay. Proof will always matter more than public opinion. The sworn testimony is proof. Completely disgusted.

“An End to the Cosby Defenders?” I thought there would have been an end when 46 PEOPLE ACCUSED HIM OF THE SAME THING. http://t.co/AzyADf8VAm

I’ve never listened to a Bill Cosby album and that makes me better than all of you.
