Julia Roberts Shares Her New Givenchy Ads -- With An Orange Traffic Cone!?!

Julia Roberts is the new face of Givenchy.
Julia Roberts and an orange traffic cone are the new faces of Givenchy!
We can’t make this stuff up, folks.
The label’s creative director Riccardo Tisci specifically chose Julia to star in the S/S 2015 campaign, but he failed to explain why the ad also features a traffic cone in the middle of a forest.
It’s actually kind of making us uncomfortable. And when we first saw it we thought it was Photoshopped.
But, no, it’s real!!!
Riccardo only had good things to say about Julia, though:

“She’s incredible as a woman. I love her so much: She’s funny, ironic, intelligent, cultured ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ everything. She really represents my woman. She’s got a really strong sense of fun and is very open.”

The designer also explained the inspiration behind the styling of the ads, saying:

“I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure. It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ really cool and urban, I think.”

Well, making Julia look more serious was certainly accomplished successfully!
She looks almost too serious. Like she’s angry about something. Probably about that stupid cone stealing her shine.
