Justin Baldoni‘s lawyer Bryan Freedman is defending their decision to release ALL communications between the It Ends With Us director and Blake Lively.
After releasing a nearly 10-minute on-set video of the actors performing an intimate scene in the film to hit back at sexual harassment allegations, Justin and his team have been teasing the launch of a website that would include more audio/video footage, texts, and emails between the feuding co-stars. Not only will stuff like this be put into evidence, but it’s going to be readily available for the whole world to check out!

The lawyer has been making media appearances to discuss the lawsuit and tease the new website, something Blake and Ryan Reynolds have been fighting back against by trying to get a judge to grant a gag order on him! They fear Bryan is trying to taint the jury pool and influence court proceedings and public opinion through his comments and the forthcoming launch of this website.
Speaking to TMZ on Monday, the attorney argued that getting sharing all the communications is actually a good thing — and the only way to show what really happened. He claimed the website is meant to “do the exact opposite” of what the Gossip Girl star did “when they [Blake and Ryan] gave provable false information to the New York Times.” He added:
“We will not be selective, we will not cherry pick and we will not doctor text messages.”
Blake and her team have been accused of heavily editing the texts she released in her lawsuit, so we get why he’d want to highlight this point… He continued:
“Both Ms. Lively and Mr. Reynolds do not yet understand that there isn’t one rule for them and one rule for everybody else. If they want to unethically gag the truth by threatening to wield their power in Hollywood, we will fight it every step of the way.”
He’s certainly not afraid of the A-listers or going to let it stop him, he concluded:
“Defending ourselves is not retaliation, it is a human right.”
As proof, shortly after this interview, the attorney released a 7-minute voice note Justin once sent to Blake apologizing for how he handled her rewrites and more. So, they aren’t backing down!
