Justin Baldoni’s wedding video has resurfaced… And it’s certainly something.
With all the context of Blake Lively’s sexual harassment complaint she filed against her It Ends with Us co-star over the weekend, Justin’s wedding vows carry a whole new weight. In resurfaced footage from the Jane the Virgin star’s 2013 nuptials to Emily Baldoni, he starts off his vows not with an “I love you,” but instead with an APOLOGY! That’s right, he says:
“I want to start off my vows to you with an apology. I’m sorry for all my faults, my shortcomings, for my insecurities, and my ego, and for everything that I’ve ever done or said that’s hurt you. And everything I’ve ever brought to this relationship that hasn’t been pure.”
Uhhh, what “faults” and impurities is he exactly referring to?? While he didn’t specify, with everything Blake has accused him of, the possibilities aren’t promising. Maybe he was referring to his former porn addiction? He continued:
“But with that apology also comes a promise. Emily, for the rest of my life, I will cherish you, I will appreciate you, I will listen to you, I will laugh with you, I will take care of you, I will honor you and I will respect you.”
Mind you, this was more than 10 years ago… Before ALL the accusations against him spiraled out of IEWU. That says a lot. You can watch the full video (below):
