The Good Lord is testing Justin Bieber!
The superstar took to Instagram on Thursday to open up a bit about the rough past few months he’s apparently been going through.
The post featured a video of his performance at a church service at Churchome in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night — during which the 25-year-old became very emotional, according to ET.
A source told the outlet the Canadian crooner was seen crying before he got on stage and delivered a spirited rendition of Never Would Have Made It by Marvin Sapp.
The following day, JB shed some light on his reported tears, telling his followers how God has been “pulling [him] through a hard season.”

It’s unclear if he’s referring to the actual season of Summer or some biblical allegory. What is clear, though, is the Purpose crooner’s unfaltering faith. He wrote in the caption:
“Sang at church last night. God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest. But he is faithful to complete what he started.”
Bless.
The artist also made sure to praise wife Hailey Bieber for being a pillar of support through these oh-so-hard times. He continued:
“I also want to thank my wife for being such a huge support in my life through this season.. it says in the bible count it ALL JOY when you face trials of various kinds. Sounds insane considering when u face trials u feel terrible. But if we are grateful and worship god for what we do have in that season there is so much power in that… whatever pain you are going through just keep telling yourself THIS WONT LAST! Love you guys we in this together.”
The singer’s post garnered countless supportive messages from fans and fellow celebs — and, of course, his doting bride.
Hailey wrote in the comments section:
“So proud of who u are.”

We could only guess why this season has been so hard for the star, who’s been busy giving his mental health a tune-up and planning a religious wedding ceremony with his wife set for next month.

While the pair secretly married at a New York courthouse last September just two months after getting engaged, a source told People the couple are still having a “religious ceremony” and “party in September,” adding:
“They always planned to have one. They want to wed properly in front of family and friends.”
The newlyweds are said to be tying the knot for a second time on September 30 at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina.
Sounds like Autumn will be a much better season for the singer.
Keep pushing through, Biebs!
