Kanye West Has Contemplated Suicide, He Reveals

At a screening of his film Runaway Kanye West told the audience that he has gone through dark periods where he thought about suicide.
├óΓé¼┼ôThere were times that I contemplated suicide,” West told the audience. “[However], I will not give up on life again.├óΓé¼┬¥
Some of Kanye├óΓé¼Γäós lyrics have hinted at suicide, including those from his new song Power: “Now this would be a beautiful death – I’m jumping out the window, I’m letting everything go.”
Kanye said that the responsibility he feels to his fans to continue to be a leader in the world of pop culture is what keeps him going.
“There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard,” said West. ├óΓé¼┼ôI do it for them.”
