Comedian Katt Williams was recently briefed on Kanye West’s Louis Vuitton boycott, and then asked what he thought about it.
Aside from pulling out his own LV luggage and sounding confused as to why Yeezus would be mad at the fashion label, he had some intriguing insights to make!
He didn’t seem to have anything against the boycott, and didn’t doubt that Kanye had the influence to make a dent in their sales, but he did say:
├óΓé¼┼ôI would hope that’s not what we use all that black power for.”
Hmm. He has a point!
So the obvious next question was: if Katt had enough pull to successfully boycott something, what would he choose?
His response was simply:
“Hatred.”
Inneresting!!
But since Yeezy has compared his struggles in the fashion world to the civil rights movement on MULTIPLE occasions, maybe he’s just taking a different approach to the same end.
Do U think Kanye’s weight should be used for causes other than the ones he’s been choosing??
