So, imagine our smiley-faced surprised when we learned Robert Poindexter‘s $500K infringement case against him had been dismissed!
As it turns out, a judge threw out the lawsuit because the plaintiff never served Kanye the proper paper work! So the case was “dismissed without prejudice for failure to prosecute” earlier this month!
Wow! We don’t know how Kanye evaded getting served for twenty months – the dude must be a ninja – but we congratulate the new father on his legal victory!
For what it’s worth, the plaintiff alleged that Kanye ripped off the R&B singer’s 1972 song Trying Girls Out in his song Girls Girls Girls!
