God help you if you show up backstage at one of his shows in a man-made fiber. You’ll be TOAST!
Kanye West is a big name and a huge artist, which means he’s entitled to make certain demands of his crew while he is on tour. Most artist’s riders have lists of drinks and foods an artist wants at their disposal at all times, but Ye isn’t just any performer.
He’s Kanye West! Duh!
So, on his rider, not only does he insist on having Versace towels shipped over, which are then cut into smaller sizes so he can use them onstage (GASP!!!), but he has banned all man-made fibers in his presence. In other words, his drivers and crew are required to wear nothing by 100% cotton while working with him … or else they’re history!
And that folks is what we like to call … a diva! Better still, a gangsta diva! Style and swagger! LOL!
