Kate Middleton Says Princess Charlotte Has A 'Gooey' Obsession!

Princess Charlotte loves slime!

Despite her royal stature, Princess Charlotte is just your normal, average kid!
On Wednesday, while mom Kate Middleton spoke to a young girl named Narriyah during her visit to the Kantor Centre of Excellence at the Anna Freud National Centre for Families and Children, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed her daughter — who turned 4 on Thursday — loves to play with slime!

Per Hello! magazine, Prince William‘s wife told Narriyah:

“Charlotte, my daughter, she dropped hers on the floor and it was pink and ended up brown and covered in so much mud… It ends up all gooey, doesn’t it?”

Sounds gross… but fun!
The girl’s grandmother later said Kate was “lovely” while speaking with Narriyah, adding:

“It was quite funny that they were talking about slime, of all things.”

During her trip, the 37-year-old — wearing an emerald green dress by Emilia Wickstead — was also shown the Pears Family School, a mental health care and education institution for children aged 5-14 who may be unsuited for a traditional school setting.
Additionally, the mother-of-three gave a speech where she praised the establishment for their work in neuroscience, mental health, social care, child development, research, and education.

“We are all here today because we care so much about transforming the mental health of children, young people, and their families… I have learnt so much about early childhood development and the importance of support for parents through your work here at the Anna Freud Centre. This is something I really do care about.”

She added:

“The ambition for the new Kantor Centre of Excellence is hugely inspiring. The bringing together of research, education, practice and policy, all in one place, will take Anna Freud Centre’s mission to the next level. It is testament to what can be achieved when people work together to realize a shared vision.”

Peter Fonagy, who heads one of Kate’s mental health charities at the Anna Freud center, told People in February of this year:

“She’s extraordinariy serious about finding good solutions to the challenges of families with young children… I  don’t know what form that will take, but I feel absolutely certain it is going to have a major impact to the approach this country takes to early interventions to help young children and their parents more effectively… She has one thing that she wants to make her career… That kind of focus from her will make a difference.”

Indeed!
