We know there’s no crying in baseball, but this is definitely a tough spot to be in!
Kate Upton has been finding herself watching a LOT of Detroit Tigers games lately after she started dating pitcher Justin Verlander!
The only problem is she’s previously stated she’s a HUGE New York Yankees fan! For the past few months, Kate has managed to work through the awkward love triangle, but it doesn’t seem as though her beloved Bronx Bombers are too happy about her rooting for another team!
While making an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, she revealed:
“When I walked in [to Yankee Stadium], they specifically told me, the Yankees told me, ‘You’re not allowed to wear a Tigers hat. You’re not allowed to wear any Tigers gear.’ It’s like a bad breakup.”
Wow! How rude!
Breaking up is never an easy thing to do, but Kate clearly made her choice when she decided to date Justin instead of a Yankees pitcher like Chris Capuano!
Sure, she might not ever be able to step foot in Yankees Stadium again, but the Bronx Bombers might not even make the playoffs this year anyways! Sounds like she made the right choice to us!
