They Got Yankee Brett Gardner's Teen Son's Cause Of Death WRONG?! Now They're Saying...

Yankees Star Brett Gardner’s 14-Year-Old Son Did NOT Die Of Asphyxiation, Despite Preliminary Report

A new update in the case of Brett Gardner’s death investigation just changed everything…

Over the weekend, the former New York Yankees outfielder and his wife Jessica Gardner revealed via the baseball team’s social media that their 14-year-old son Miller suddenly passed away. They explained that the teen, as well as other family members, fell ill while on vacation in Costa Rica, leaving them with “so many questions and so few answers.” Read their full statement (below):

Some of the questions seemed to have been answered on Monday when Juan Pablo Alvarado Garcia, an official with Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency, told NBC News the teen died of asphyxiation “after a possible intoxication after apparently ingesting some food.”

However, we’ve since learned that is not the case after all.

On Tuesday, Garcia revealed that after consultation with the Forensic Pathology Section of the Judicial Investigation Agency, asphyxiation has actually been ruled out:

“The preliminary ruling ruled out asphyxiation as the cause of death. No macro-level abnormalities were observed in the respiratory tract upon inspection of the body.”

Wait, WHAT? So then what was it that took the teen’s life so suddenly? Well, that’s still up in the air… And could be for another two to three months as labs assess histology, toxicology and neuropathology. So as of now, Miller’s death remains under active investigation.

This must be so incredibly hard for Brett, Jessica, and their older son Hunter. We’re sending so much love and light their way…

Rest in peace, Miller.
