Kathie Lee Gifford is making the best out of her retirement!
The former TODAY host was spotted kissing and snuggling up against a mystery man at an outdoor concert last week. Now, more details have come out about the guy — and he sounds like quite the catch!
According to DailyMail.com, Kathie Lee is dating insurance exec Randall Cronk, the president of RMC Insurance Group. The outlet reports that Cronk, 56, lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee; about 35 miles south of Nashville, where KLG moved following her exit from the NBC morning program earlier this year.
The 65-year-old daytime veteran was seen having the time of her life last Sunday when she and her beau attended a Journey tribute band in Franklin, Tennessee. She was spotted snapping her fingers, laughing, and dancing as she enjoyed the festivities at the Carnton Plantation.

An onlooker told the publication:
“She looked a little tipsy. She was having a great time dancing very intimately with a male friend. Retirement looks good on her.”
Sounds like she was really feeling the music — among other things!
At one point during the concert, Cronk was said to have grabbed a “smitten” Gifford in for a close embrace. They were later spotted relaxing in lawn chairs while they watched the rest of the performance.
Kathie Lee hasn’t addressed her romance just yet, but her new man has made a few appearances on her Instagram page. One of the pics (below) shows the insurance exec putting a protective arm around the former daytime diva’s waist:
Cronk, for his part, has been much less subtle about showing off his new lady love on social media. Last month, he shared a cute pic on his Facebook of the couple attending a festival, writing in the caption:
“Awesome dance partner tonight”
We bet!
This new romance comes four years after the death of Kathie Lee’s husband Frank Gifford, who died a week before his 85th birthday in 2015.
A month after her retirement, the TV personality told People she was finally ready to begin dating again — but only if it was the right person. She said:
“I’m not interested in something that isn’t magnificent. Do I need companionship? Yes, I do, and that’s one of the main reasons I moved to Nashville. Not that I’m looking for a man. What I’m looking for is an active, vibrant life.”
Looks like she found it!
