We knew Roar was about female empowerment, but didn’t exactly know Katy Perry‘s true feelings on sex in the media until now!
The faboosh feministic singer sat down with NPR├óΓé¼Γäós Weekend Edition to express her concern on female musicians showing excessive skin—which was very reminicent of Parks and Rec actress, Rashida Jones‘ recent rant via Twitter about ladies overtly displaying their..ummm vaginas!
The self pinned prismatic “inspiration out of default” revealed many famous faces are getting nekked to get noticed, and she wishes everyone could just shield the sex a bit:
“I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like, ‘Put it away!’. We know you’ve got it. I got it too. I’ve taken it off for — I’ve taken it out here and there, and I’m not necessarily judging. I’m just saying sometimes it’s nice to play that card but also it’s nice to play other cards. And I know I have that sexy card in my deck, but I don’t always have to use that card.”
It’s nice Miz Perry was generically speaking, because one of her closest friends, (Rihanna) is the QUEEN of nearly nude Instagram pics!
Not to mention, Katy shot to super stardom by explaining how she kissed a girl and liked it! LOLz!
Hopefully these inspirational words will help with the skin epidemic our country is currently facing….
Although we highly doubt it!
