Keane just had a meeting with Kanye West and they hope it will result in a collaboration.

“We spent an evening with him, and it would be nice if something came from that,” said lead singer Tom Chaplin.

They definitely aren’t strangers to bringing a hip-hop sound to their music. Keane’s latest album Night Train had a cameo by rapper K’Naan.

“There’s a fine line between exploring the melancholy areas and being depressing. We have slipped over the line sometimes, but generally we feel pretty good about life,” Chaplin continued.

It’s pretty obvious they want to try something different!
